WILCO Shooting Sports
WILCO Shooting Sports is a group of student athletes, ages elementary through colleg, who participate in youth shooting sports at the local, regional, state and national levels.
Our organization is a volunteer led program offering instruction on safety and shooting techniques for shotgun, rifle, pistol, air gun, muzzle loading and archery. Our volunteers are dedicated to teaching kids about firearm safety, responsibility, and respect through shooting sports.
Our team’s pritority are safety, growth and marksmanship – in that order!! If you would like to read more about the safety of this sport, the Wilco Shooting Sports Booster Club has an interesting article written by the Journal of Extension.
Is a volunteer led program offering instruction on safety and shooting techniques for shotgun, rifle, pistol, air gun, muzzle loading, and archery. Members are taught how to handle firearms responsibly for target practice, competition and hunting while learning respect for natural resources.
All members participating in our club must be registered with Williamson County 4-H in Texas 4-H Connect and abide by the 4-H rules. Youth must be at least 8 years old and in the 3rd grade to participate in shooting sports.

The SASP provides student athletes, ages elementary through college, with a supportive environment where shooting sports serve as catalysts for teaching life lessons and skills that emphasize positive character traits and citizenship values.
